L’occupazione femminile in Italia è anch’essa cresciuta negli ultimi anni, raggiungendo tassi che per noi costituiscono un primato. Tuttavia resta consistente il gap da colmare rispetto alla media europea. Il divario di genere, che emerge non soltanto dai tassi di occupazione ma anche dalla disparità che perdura nelle retribuzioni e nelle carriere, va colmato con un complesso di interventi e attenzioni: sui fattori strutturali e sui contesti territoriali, ma anche sulla qualità del lavoro e sui servizi per favorire la conciliazione con gli altri impegni di vita.L’altro punto critico da intendere come “riserva” di potenziale sviluppo è il lavoro dei giovani.
