TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Sidang praperadilan Pegi Setiawan, tersangka kasus pembunuhan Vina dan Eky Cirebon akan digelar di Pengadilan Negeri (PN) Bandung, Senin (24/6/2024) besok.

Praperadilan ini diajukan tim hukum Pegi lantaran penetapan tersangka pada kliennya dinilai tanpa dasar dan bukti yang kuat.

PN Bandung telah menunjuk hakim tunggal Eman Sulaeman untuk mengadili gugatan praperadilan Pegi.

Sejumlah bukti dan saksi dikumpulkan tim hukum Pegi alias Perong, untuk beradu bukti dengan penyidik.

Jelang sidang perdana praperadilan Pegi, pihak Pegi meminta Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) dan Mahkamah Agung (MA) untuk turut mengawasi.

Kuasa hukum bersama keluarga Pegi Setiawan, mendatangi Mahkamah Agung, pada Kamis (20/6/2024) sore.

Mereka datang untuk menyerahkan surat permintaan bantuan kepada MA agar dapat mengawasi proses praperadilan yang ditempuh Pegi di Pengadilan Negeri Bandung.

Toni selaku kuasa hukum Pegi, menyampaikan, ada kekhawatiran hakim yang akan menangani praperadilan Pegi tidak bekerja secara independen dan terbebas dari intervensi pihak luar.
