Ferrari have just announced one of their most desirable supercars ever, the 12Cilindri Manuale, which as the name implies, features a V12 engine and a manual transmission! But not just any manual, it's a manual-by-wire system. Yes, you've read correctly.
Now before you immediately get upset, by the end of this video, I might convince you this is not only a good thing, but perhaps even a shift in the right direction. And look I’m on your side, as I’ve owned seven cars with real, hydraulic clutches, where the shifter actually connects to a legitimate manual transmission. Because of that, yes, I have some complaints as well about how Ferrari have done this, but ultimately I think there’s a positive message here, so let’s get into it.

4). How should enthusiasts feel about it?
Whatever your feelings are, I do think we should all appreciate that Ferrari made a new car intentionally slower in an effort to increase driver engagement. That, is truly worth celebrating.
