Menteri Israel Serukan Pembubaran Otoritas Palestina, Khawatir Mahmoud Abbas Cari Pengakuan di PBB

Seruan tersebut disampaikan Ben-Gvir dalam unggahan di akun X-nya, Minggu (10/8/2025).
Dikutip dari Anadolu Agency, Ben-Gvir meminta Perdana Menteri Israel Benjamin Netanyahu tak tinggal diam.
"Netanyahu harus membawa langkah-langkah operasional segera ke rapat kabinet berikutnya untuk membubarkan Otoritas Palestina," tulisnya.
Pasalnya, muncul laporan di media bahwa Presiden Palestina Mahmoud Abbas berencana untuk mengumumkan tranformasi PA menjadi negara.
Pengumuman tersebut diperkirakan terjadi dalam sidang umum PBB pada September 2025.
Israel telah mengkritik upaya Palestina untuk memperoleh pengakuan internasional atas kenegaraan berdasarkan perbatasan tahun 1967.
Para pejabat Israel berulang kali menyerukan sanksi terhadap Otoritas Palestina, menuduhnya melakukan hasutan terhadap Israel.
Netanyahu dan para pemimpin lainnya juga menolak status negara Palestina, dengan alasan hal itu mengancam keberadaan Israel.
Bulan lalu, sebuah konferensi PBB tentang solusi dua negara menyerukan pengakuan penuh atas negara Palestina dan keanggotaan PBB, sebuah langkah yang ditentang oleh Israel dan AS.
Saat ini, 148 negara anggota PBB mengakui Palestina, yang dinyatakan sebagai pengasingan pada tahun 1988.
