I made a HAIRY combat robot in 48hrs!
Thanks to Jaycar for sponsoring this video! Learn more here - https://www.jaycar.com.au/3d-printingRobot Royale 9 was on last weekend, and all my usual robots were broken, so I gave myself 48 hours to design, build and compete with something completely new... a HAIRY combat robot! Can 3D printed bristles based on the “hairy lion” 3D print survive in the arena? Watch to find out.
In this video: Designing a 150g plastic antweight or “plant” combat robot using Autodesk Fusion, 3D printing the combat robot chassis on the Elegoo Centauri Carbon V2, wiring and soldering it all together, and then putting it to the test in the arena.
Huge thanks to Jaycar for hooking me up with the printer, filament and small parts for this build; I've been going into my local Jaycar since I was a kid, and their gear has ended up in pretty much every combat robot and random project I've built. Jaycar is the home of 3D printing in Australia and they can help you with your projects too. Receive SMS online on sms24.me
