Secondo Mattarella, il pianeta avrebbe necessità dell’Europa. Ma, in realtà, il mondo si sta riorganizzando, abbandonando il vecchio continente al suo destino: quello di essere una serva sciocca della civiltà del dollaro, priva di autonomia e capacità decisionale. Mentre Russia, India, Cina e i BRICS strutturano un mondo multipolare, l’Europa appare irrilevante, quasi inesistente.
