Dana tersebut akan dialokasikan salah satunya untuk tambahan anggaran Makan Bergizi Gratis sebesar 100 triliun rupiah.
Hashim juga menegaskan, tidak ada pemotongan pada biaya pendidikan termasuk beasiswa, akibat efisiensi tersebut. Sehingga, menurutnya mahasiswa tidak perlu khawatir sektor pendidikan di Indonesia terganggu.
