The Viral Coffin Dancers of Africa (Ghana)

In this video, I begin my journey in Accra, Ghana, exploring the vibrant streets and experiencing daily life in the city. As I walk through Accra, I take you along to discover its rich culture, people, and rhythm of life.

Next, I visit a historical site tied to the transatlantic slave trade — a place where countless people were once held before being forcibly sent to the Americas. The history here is heartbreaking and heavy, and I share the dark past of this location in detail.

On the next day, I explore something truly unique — a workshop where custom coffins are made, including those linked to the viral Coffin Dance meme. In Ghana, death is celebrated, and the coffins are designed in amazing shapes — from airplanes to animals. It's an emotional yet fascinating part of the culture.

Finally, I visit one of the largest e-waste dumping sites in the world. Mountains of electronic waste are collected here, and I witness the impact it has on the environment and the people working there.

Join me on this emotional and eye-opening journey through Accra — from its painful history to its unique traditions and modern-day challenges.
