Nave iraniana attaccata dagli USA: Di Feo spiega cosa è successo
Nel corso della puntata di Omnibus condotta da Gerardo Greco su LA7, il giornalista Gianluca Di Feo ha commentato le immagini di un episodio militare di forte impatto: l'abbordaggio da parte della marina americana di una nave portacontainer di bandiera turca ma di proprietà iraniana, avvenuto dopo che un cacciatorpediniere statunitense aveva aperto il fuoco contro di essa. Le immagini, trasmesse in studio, mostrano la fase di ingaggio: prima la comunicazione radio con l'ordine di fermarsi, poi i colpi di cannone. Di Feo ha subito chiarito la portata dell'armamento utilizzato: « Che sarebbe un 127 mm per gli italiani e che tendenzialmente il cannone più pesante che c'è sulle navi ». Secondo il giornalista, i due colpi non erano di avvertimento ma furono sparati deliberatamente sulla sala macchine per immobilizzare il natante, con successo. L'azione militare si è poi completata con l'occupazione fisica della nave da parte dei marines, calati a bordo con gli elicotteri.
