St.Leon-Rot: Am Montagmorgen gegen 08:15 Uhr kam es im Bereich der Kläranlage in St. Leon-Rot zu einem Zusammenstoß zwischen einem 55-jährigen Radfahrer und einem Auto.Ersten Ermittlungen zufolge fuhr der Autofahrer auf dem Feldweg Stegwiesenweg von St. Leon in Richtung Kläranlage, als der Radfahrer von links auf den Weg kam und ungebremst gegen die Fahrzeugfront prallte.
Der 55-Jährige zog sich bei dem Unfall schwere, jedoch nicht lebensgefährliche Verletzungen zu. Nach der ersten Versorgung durch den Rettungsdienst wurde er mit einem Rettungshubschrauber in eine Klinik gebracht.
Das Rennrad wurde bei dem Zusammenstoß völlig zerstört. Der Pkw wurde so stark beschädigt, dass er abgeschleppt werden musste. Der Autofahrer blieb körperlich unverletzt, erlitt jedoch einen Schock.
