Dikutip dari Al Mayadeen, polisi Israel telah bersiaga di halaman Masjid Al-Aqsa sebelum jemaah tiba.

Selain itu, polisi Israel juga mencegah pemuda Palestina untuk masuk karena jumlah jemaah dibatasi.
Dilaporkan ada dua pemuda Palestina asal Kota Silwad yang ditahan sebelum salat.
Meski pembatasan sangat ketat, umat Muslim tetap melakukan salat Idul Adha di Masjid Al-Aqsa hari ini, Minggu (16/6/2024).
Departemen Wakaf Islam di Yerusalem mengatakan ada 40.000 jemaah yang menunaikan salat Idul Adha.
Sebagai informasi, Masjid Al-Aqsa terletak di Yerusalem timur yang kini dikuasai oleh Israel.
Oleh bangsa Yahudi, tempat tersebut dianggap sebagai kompleks suci dan digunakan untuk beribadah.
