Direktur Informasi dan Media Kemenlu Hartyo Harkomoyo menyebut, mikrofon Prabowo sengaja dimatikan.
Hal itu dikarenakan Prabowo berbicara lebih dari aturan yang diberikan.
Menurut pria yang akrab disapa Yoyok itu, apabila pidato lebih dari lima menit, maka mikrofon akan dimatikan dalam video live streaming milik PBB.
"Jadi suara yang tidak terdengar di video/streaming dikarenakan pidato yang lebih dari waktu yang ditentukan," kata Yoyok.
Sebagai informasi, matinya mikrofon di mimbar PBB ini terjadi seusai Prabowo berpidato sekira lima menit.
Dalam pidatonya, Prabowo membahas soal solusi dua negara untuk perdamaian Palestina.
Saat kejadian berlangsung, terlihat ada seorang perempuan dari arah kiri mendekati Prabowo.
Namun seusai Prabowo hendak mengakhiri pidatonya, mikrofon di mimbar hidup kembali dan suara terdengar jelas.
