Main di Film Biopik Lafran, Lala Karmela: Spiritualitas Penting untuk Jadi Orang Indonesia yang Baik
Lala Karmela bersyukur kini film biopik tokoh Islam Indonesia, Lafran Pane akhirnya resmi rilis. Rasa syukur itu membuncah apalagi dia harus menunggu enam tahun sampai 'Lafran' meluncur ke layar lebar."Alhamdulillah filmnya keluar setelah enam tahun. Dan ternyata pas lihat hasilnya, benar-benar muncul rasa-rasa nostalgia pas syuting filmnya. Ini salah satu film yang aku enjoy banget syutingnya, cast-nya, sutradaranya, sangat positif, dan tercermin juga dari hasilnya. Jadi sebagai cast-nya bangga banget. Bersyukur film ini keluar, semoga ditonton dan diterima masyarakat karena maknanya deep banget," ujar Lala Karmela.
Menurut Lala, film ini penting untuk ditonton sebagai pengingat akan akar. Apalagi, nilai-nilai dan pesan yang dibawa cukup kuat karena mengangkat isu spiritualisme bernegara.
"Buat aku penting banget nilai-nilai ini sebagai generasi sekarang untuk tidak melupakan itu (spiritual). At the end of the day kita juga to be a good Indonesian kita juga harus punya nilai spiritual yang baik. Dengan banyak distraksi saat ini, film ini mengingatkan kita untuk kembali kepada akar," imbuhnya.
Sebagai informasi, 'Lafran' merupakan film biopik Lafran Pane, yang diproduksi Korps Alumni Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam (KAHMI) bersama rumah produksi Reborn Initiatives. Setelah direncanakan tayang Februari sebagai kado ulang tahun HMI ke-77 tahun, kini Lafran akhirnya bisa dinikmati.
Selain Lala Karmela yang memerankan tokoh Dewi, film ini dibintangi Dimas Anggara sebagai pemeran utama. Selain itu ada Mathias Muchis, Ariyo Wahab, hingga Ratna Riantiarno.
