TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Kementerian Luar Negeri (Kemlu) Republik Indonesia menyatakan tidak ada warga negara Indonesia (WNI) tewas dalam peristiwa perkelahian massal antara sejumlah pekerja WNI dan Bangladesh.

Pasalnya diketahui penyebabnya dari perkalahian tersebut adalah kesalahpahaman antar pekerja.

Kedutaan Besar Republik Indonesia Kuala Lumpur, menerima informasi perkelahian terjadi di proyek pembangunan Bangsar Hill Park pada Senin, (14/7) pukul 11.25 waktu setempat.

Perkelahian WNI dan warga Bangladesh mengakibatkan warga Indonesia berinisial S mengalami pingsan dan dilarikan ke rumah sakit.

Korban berinisial S dilarikan ke Rumah Sakit Kuala Lumpur untuk mendapat perawatan medis.

Namun, diketahui korban bersangkutan saat ini telah ditanyatakan keluar dari RS.

Saat ini Kemlu RI, menyatakan kabar WNI meninggal dalam perkelahian di Malaysia tidaklah benar.

Adapun situasi di lokasi proyek saat ini sudah terkendali.

Dari pihak manajemen juga telah mengambil langkah awal memisahkan kelompok yang berseteru.

Selain itu, peningkatan pemantauan para pekerja juga telah dilakukan guna mencegah kejadian berulang.
