Pemerintah Indonesia Bakal Siapkan Rencana Evakuasi WNI di Iran
KOMPASTV - Menteri Luar Negeri Sugiono, menegaskan pemerintah sedang menyiapkan langkah evakuasi WNII di Iran dan meminta kerja sama sejumlah negara tetangga Iran.Hal itu disampaikan oleh Sugiono usai menyambut kedatangan Presiden di Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Evakuasi WNI itu dilakukan seiring meningkatnya eskalasi konflik di Iran, sehingga mendorong pemerintah Indonesia meningkatkan status kesiagaan bagi WNI di wilayah itu.
Sugiono juga bilang evakuasi akan dilakukan melalui jalur darat, karena penerbangan langsung ke Iran saat ini dianggap tidak memungkinkan.
