5 Jahre Ahrtal-Flut: Hat Deutschland aus der Katastrophe gelernt?
Nach heftigen Regenfällen steigt der Pegel der Ahr in der Nacht des 14. Juli 2021 binnen weniger Stunden auf nie gekannte Höhen. Eine Sturzflut reißt Häuser und Brücken mit sich. Als gegen 23 Uhr der Katastrophenalarm ausgerufen wird, ist es für viele schon zu spät: Insgesamt sterben in Deutschland mehr als 180 Menschen bei der Flut,135 davon allein im Ahrtal.Fünf Jahre später ist im Ahrtal zwar etliches wieder aufgebaut, doch Konsequenzen für die Verantwortlichen gibt es aus Sicht vieler Betroffener bis heute zu wenig. In dieser 11KM-Folge erzählt SWR-Journalist Constantin Pläcking, wie es den Menschen dort heute geht, woran es bei der juristischen Aufarbeitung hapert und ob das Ahrtal bei der nächsten Flut besser gewappnet wäre.
