Los combates se han intensificado en Yemen, mientras los hutíes avanzan para tomar posiciones estratégicas en el país.

Según reportes, la Administración Trump se había preparado para lanzar ataques aéreos el domingo contra los rebeldes, pero los canceló a último momento. Varios informes indican que Washington no ha respondido a las reiteradas peticiones de Arabia Saudí para que Estados Unidos se una a la lucha contra los hutíes en Yemen. En tanto, el primer ministro del Reino Unido, Andy Burnham, afirmó que ha aceptado una solicitud de asistencia militar por parte de Arabia Saudí.
