Uta Bresan ist diese Woche zu Besuch im Tierheim Meiningen. Hier sucht unter anderem Kater Emil ein neues Zuhause.Emil lebte bis zu seinem Einzug ins Tierheim im November 2025 ein selbstbestimmtes Leben in der Meininger Innenstadt. Hier kümmerten sich Anwohner um den gemütlichen Freigänger. Bevor diese umzogen und so Emils Versorgung nicht mehr gewährleistet werden konnte, übergaben sie ihn den Tierschützern. Für den standorttreuen Kater wird ein ländliches Umfeld gesucht, in dem er auch weiterhin in seiner Umgebung umherstreifen kann. Ebenso genießt er den Bezug zu den ihm vertrauten Personen und die Vorzüge eines bequemen Rückzugsortes in der Wohnung. Emil zeigt seine Verbundenheit nicht durch innige Kuscheleinheiten, sondern äußert sein Wohlbefinden durch kleine Gesten der Entspannung und Nähe zu seinen Menschen. Mit Katzen oder Hunden ist er nicht verträglich.
