MEINE MEINUNG: Israels Krieg – "Verantwortung für Verhältnisse in Gaza hat zuallererst die Hamas"

Die Kritik aus dem Auswärtigen Amt an der Israel-Politik sorgt für Diskussion – auch bei Journalist Christoph Lemmer. In der „Meinung am Mittag“ zeigt er wenig Verständnis für die Aktion von 130 Nachwuchsdiplomaten, die offen gegen die Linie der Bundesregierung protestieren. Für Lemmer ist das anmaßend: Beamte hätten umzusetzen, nicht zu bestimmen. Inhaltlich verweist er auf die Verantwortung der Hamas für die dramatische Lage in Gaza, insbesondere durch Missbrauch von Hilfsgütern. Auch warnt er vor einer einseitigen Debatte, die andere Konflikte – etwa das Morden in Syrien – völlig ausblendet. Ein Plädoyer für Klarheit, Differenzierung – und für politische Führung.
