Penetapan itu diberikan setelah SP melakukan tindak kekerasan terhadap empat orang bocah hingga merantai besi kaki korban.
Menurut pengakuan tersangka kepada pihak kepolisian, empat anak tersebut dirantai selama dua minggu terakhir karena mencuri.
Akan tetapi pernyataan tersebut tak ditelan mentah-mentah oleh pihak kepolisian.
Kasat Reskrim Polres Boyolali, AKP Joko Purwadi, menyebut bahwa pihaknya telah mengamankan sejumlah bukti terkait kasus ini.
Terkini tersangka telah ditetapkan Pasal tentang Undang-Undang Perlindungan Anak, dengan ancaman penjara maksimal delapan tahun.
Sebelumnya diketahui bahwa peristiwa ini terungkap setelah salah seorang anak inisial MAF kepergok mencuri kotak amal masjid pada Minggu (13/7/2025) dini hari.
Warga yang memergoki MAF mencuri lantas mengantarkannya kepada SP.
Namun sesampainya di rumah SP, warga tersebut justru dibuat terkejut dengan temuan tiga orang bocah yang tertidur di luar rumah dengan posisi kaki dirantai besi.
Ketika bocah itu adalah SAW (14) dan IAR (11) yang merupakan kakak beradik asal Kabupaten Semarang.
Kemudian ada VMR (6) dari Batang yang merupakan adik dari MAF.
