Mereka disiksa setelah kapal kemanusiaan yang membawa bantuan untuk Gaza diserang di laut internasional pada Rabu (1/10/2025).
Para aktivis menyebut diperlakukan secara keji dan tidak manusiawi sebelum akhirnya dideportasi.
Sebelum penyerangan, sekira 50 kapal kemanusiaan dari 44 negara termasuk Malaysia, Italia, Swiss, Tunisia, dan Amerika Serikat tengah menuju Gaza.
Namun saat jarak kapal hanya sekitar 75 kilometer dari pesisir barat Gaza, pasukan Israel tiba-tiba melakukan intersepsi dan blokade bersenjata.
Beberapa kapal dibombardir menggunakan meriam air bertekanan tinggi.
Pasukan Israel naik ke kapal dan memaksa seluruh penumpang menyerah.
Seorang anggota dewan asal Italia, Paolo Romano, mengatakan para aktivis dipaksa berlutut dan tengkurap.
Lalu dipukul jika bergerak sedikit saja dan ditahan Dua Hari Tanpa Air dan Makanan.
Ratusan aktivis kemudian dibawa ke Pelabuhan Ashdod, sebelum dipindahkan ke Penjara Ketziot di Gurun Negev, fasilitas yang dikenal menampung tahanan politik Palestina.
Mereka ditahan selama dua hari tanpa air bersih, tanpa akses medis, dan ditempatkan di sel sempit.
Romano menyebut mereka diperlakukan seperti binatang.
Ia bahkan menuturkan, pasukan Israel kerap membuka pintu di malam hari sambil menodongkan senjata untuk menakuti para tahanan.
