In un video dello youtuber #MeirKay è contenuto uno dei messaggi motivazionali più importanti lasciati da Covey durante la sua attività di divulgazione. Nel video in questione un professore spiega alla propria classe quali sono le priorità della vita di ognuno attraverso una #metafora. Il professore, infatti, riempie prima un barattolo con delle palline da golf, poi continua con dei sassolini, poi con della sabbia e infine con della birra. Il barattolo rappresenta la #vita, le palline da golf rappresentano le priorità, sassolini e sabbia le cose meno importanti. La morale? Dobbiamo riempire la nostra vita prima con le priorità, poi con le cose meno importanti, se facessimo il contrario non riusciremmo a riempirla, proprio come il barattolo.
