Upacara digelar bagi 60 korban tewas, termasuk komandan militer, ilmuwan nuklir, dan warga sipil, yang dimulai di Lapangan Enqelab dan berakhir di Lapangan Azadi.
Dikutip dari Tribunnews pada Minggu (29/6), suasana duka menyelimuti para pelayat yang juga meluapkan kemarahan mereka dengan membakar bendera AS dan Israel serta meneriakkan slogan perlawanan.
Presiden Iran Masoud Pezeshkian dan pejabat tinggi negara hadir dalam prosesi yang disebut sebagai “hari bersejarah” oleh pejabat lokal.
Salah satu korban terkemuka adalah Mohammad Bagheri, perwira tinggi militer Iran, yang dimakamkan bersama istri dan putrinya.
Ilmuwan nuklir Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi dan istrinya juga dimakamkan setelah tewas dalam serangan yang sama.
Spanduk bernada balas dendam dan seruan anti-Israel-AS dibawa oleh warga selama prosesi.
Panglima IRGC Hossein Salami, korban pertama dalam serangan, juga dijadwalkan dimakamkan usai upacara.
Seorang pelayat bernama Reyhaneh menyatakan kesetiaan penuh rakyat kepada Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Gencatan senjata tidak menghapus luka mendalam dan semangat perlawanan yang terus bergema di Iran.
