Cuidado se você vir por aí um anúncio de protetor de cárter para o seu carro, pode ser à venda ou então como brinde se você comprar um carro zero.
Mas muito cuidado porque o protetor de cárter é uma chapa colocada debaixo do motor para proteger a parte inferior dele, que é o cárter. Porém muitas fábricas já pensaram em outras soluções, porque esta chapa pode em alguns modelos prejudicar o carro se não for homologada pelo fabricante.
Ela pode prejudicar a refrigeração do motor ou desviar a água para dentro dos cilindros no caso de passar por um trecho alagado e destruir o motor, ou então no caso de um acidente com batida frontal, jogar por terra todo o projeto para proteger motorista e passageiros.
