Aksi Mensos Risma Sapa Warga Terdampak Bencana Longsor di Garut
GARUT, KOMPASTV Menteri Sosial Tri Rismaharini mengunjungi korban bencana tanah longsor di Desa Talagajaya, Kecamatan Banjarwangi, Kabupaten Garut, Jawa Barat. Selasa (30/4/2024).Risma mengecek langsung posko penanggulangan bencana tanah longsor dan bencana gempa sekaligus menyerahkan bantuan bagi warga.
Sebelumnya musibah tebing longsor setinggi 100 meter yang terjadi di Desa Talagajaya, Kecamatan Banjarwangi, Kabupaten Garut menewaskan tiga orang warga dalam satu keluarga.
Warga juga perlu diberikan edukasi dalam menghadapi bencana.
"Saya sampaikan karena kondisi wilayahnya seperti ini harus dibentuk KSB (kelompok siaga bencana), minimal mereka bisa survive, terutama anak-anak kecil, untuk bayi balita suruh nahan lapar kan enggak bisa. Karena sekali lagi kondisi geografisnya seperti itu," jelas Risma.
Risma menilai bahwa mitigasi bencana harus terus ditingkatkan terlebih kabupaten Garut
"Karena itu saya sampaikan ke Sekda memitigasi kalau bisa mencegah kita cegah, kalau kita bisa seandainya itu terjadi kita, bisa segera respons dan relokasi warga, kami akan komunikasi dengan daerah, daerah kekuatannya apa kita bisa bantu apa," lanjutnya.
