Ia tewas setelah ditabrak truk bermuatan plastik ketika tengah mengisi angin ban di Jalan Desa Kedawung, Kecamatan Nglegok, Kabupaten Blitar.
Tak hanya Yuliantoro, kenek sopir truk yang menabrak diketahui juga menjadi korban kecelakaan dengan mengalami patah tulang.
Kecelakaan terjadi diduga karena pengemudi truk plastik sedang tidak fokus saat mengemudi.
