From Foroglio, it takes around 30–35 minutes of hiking to reach this remote place, following the valley past the river and into Val Calnegia.
There are just a handful of old stone houses here, a beautiful stone bridge and a clear mountain river running through the valley. There are no roads and no electricity grid, and the valley is traditionally inhabited mainly during the warmer months.
It’s hard to imagine that places like this still exist in Switzerland.
