Al dispiacere per la sua scomparsa vogliamo affiancare alcune considerazioni critiche, forse controcorrente, sul ruolo che ha incarnato nella storia dell’informazione nel nostro Paese.
Emilio Fede ha rappresentato, in maniera esemplare e quasi scolastica, la figura del giornalista organico a una parte politica o, più precisamente, a un uomo politico: Silvio #Berlusconi. Nei confronti del #Cavaliere, Fede nutriva una vera e propria venerazione, che non mancava di far trasparire, spesso con sfacciataggine, durante la conduzione del telegiornale su #Rete4.
La sua narrazione aveva spesso toni agiografici, marcati da una retorica celebrativa nei confronti di Berlusconi, presentato quasi come un benefattore dell’Italia, se non addirittura come un redentore sceso in terra per salvarla. All’opposto, i critici e gli oppositori del leader di #ForzaItalia erano regolarmente stigmatizzati. Emblematiche, in questo senso, le immagini scelte per rappresentarli: spesso ridicolizzanti, tali da suscitare un’immediata repulsione nello spettatore.
