Rettungsarbeiten nach Bergsturz: Eindrücke des ARD-Korrespondenten aus Nepal

Zwei Tage nach der Sturzflut im Himalaya hat sich die Zahl der Todesopfer in Nepal und Tibet nach Behördenangaben auf insgesamt mindestens 543 erhöht. Der nepalesische Katastrophenschutz meldete 538 bestätigte Tote. Chinesische Staatsmedien zufolge stieg die Zahl der Toten in der von China kontrollierten autonomen Region Tibet auf fünf. Mehr als 1.400 Menschen gelten als vermisst.
