TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Gerhana matahari parsial akan terjadi pada Minggu, 21 September 2025.

Fenomena ini merupakan salah satu peristiwa astronomi yang menarik karena hanya sebagian piringan Matahari yang tertutup Bulan.

Badan Meteorologi Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) menjelaskan, gerhana matahari parsial terjadi ketika bulan hanya menutupi sebagian batahari.

Dari permukaan bumi, matahari akan tampak seperti tergigit.

Direktur Seismologi Teknik dan Geofisika Parsial BMKG, Setyoajie Prayoedhie, menyebutkan gerhana ini terlihat dari wilayah yang dilalui bayangan penumbra.

Artinya, cahaya matahari tidak tertutup sepenuhnya.

Sayangnya, masyarakat Indonesia tidak bisa menyaksikan langsung fenomena ini.

Posisi geografis Indonesia membuat gerhana tersebut tidak dapat diamati dari dalam negeri.

Gerhana matahari parsial kali ini bisa dilihat dari wilayah Selandia Baru, Mikronesia, dan sebagian Australia Timur.

Fenomena dimulai pada 17.29 UTC atau 22 September pukul 00.29 WIB.

Puncaknya akan terjadi pukul 02.41 WIB dan berakhir pada 04.53 WIB.

Dengan demikian, masyarakat di wilayah yang dilalui akan memiliki waktu sekitar empat jam untuk menyaksikan peristiwa ini.
