Dilantiknya Erick Thohir sebagai Menpora kemudian menimbulkan tanya publik, pasalnya posisi Menteri BUMN yang sebelumnya diemban kini kosong.
Terkait dengan kondisi tersebut, Erick Thohir mengatakan bahwa posisi BUMN akan segera diisi oleh pelaksana tugas (plt).
Erick berujar, terkait penggantinya, menunggu keputusan Presiden Prabowo.
Ia menegaskan bahwa pengisian jabatan tersebut sepenuhnya merupakan hak prerogatif presiden.
Disinggung soal wacana peleburan Kementerian BUMN dengan Danantara, Erick enggan berkomentar lebih jauh.
Menurutnya, hal tersebut masih menunggu proses dan persetujuan dari DPR RI.
Erick lantas mengatakan bahwa fokus utamanya saat ini adalah menjalankan tugas sebagai Menpora.
Sementara itu, Menteri Sekretaris Negara (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi menyatakan bahwa Presiden Prabowo belum menunjuk Menteri BUMN definitif.
Pasalnya Prabowo masih mencari sosok pengganti untuk Menteri BUMN tersebut.
Terkait isu BUMN akan dilebur ke Danantara, Prasetyo menyebut belum mengetahuinya.
Prasetyo memastikan bahwa posisi Menteri BUMN nantinya akan diisi oleh pelaksana tugas.
Menurutnya, kemungkinan akan diemban oleh Wakil Menteri BUMN Kartika Wirjoatmodjo.
