TRANSMEDIUM: Cosa Stanno Recuperando dal Fondo dell’Oceano?
TRANSMEDIUM è la categoria ufficiale del Pentagono per oggetti che attraversano aria e oceano senza decelerare.Nel maggio 2023 lo Stato Maggiore Congiunto ha emesso una direttiva che definisce quattro categorie di oggetti non identificati. Tra queste compare Transmedium, riservata a quelli che transitano tra cielo, mare e spazio. Il modulo di rapporto allegato prevede campi specifici per stato fisico (solido, liquido, gas, plasma), firma sensoriale (acustica, radiofrequenza, luce, termica, radioattiva, gravitazionale) e controllo intelligente apparente.
Nello stesso periodo 33 scienziati di Stanford, MIT, Harvard e del CNES francese hanno firmato un paper su oggetti che operano senza transizione tra dominio aereo e subacqueo. Il DARPA, con il programma Ocean of Things, aveva già dispiegato migliaia di sensori negli oceani con magnetometri per identificare fenomeni nuovi e sconosciuti. Le procedure di recupero prevedono trasferimento del materiale entro 30 giorni e notifica al controspionaggio entro 24 ore.
La rete è diventata operativa nel 2022. La direttiva di recupero è arrivata un anno dopo. Tra i due eventi qualcosa ha costretto il Pentagono a scrivere regole che prima non esistevano.
