PADANG, KOMPAS.TV - Rumah doa milik Gereja Kristen Setia Indonesia (GKSI) Anugerah di Padang, Sumatera Barat, dibubarkan dan dirusak sejumlah orang, Minggu, 27 Juli 2025.Rekaman peristiwa perusakan beredar di media sosial. Salah satu video menunjukkan pelaku membawa kayu, berteriak meminta jemaat keluar dari rumah doa.
Jemaat yang panik berhamburan keluar dari dalam ruangan. Tak lama, kedua pihak dimediasi.
Polisi menangkap 9 orang dan melakukan pemeriksaan, serta memasang garis polisi di lokasi kejadian. Polisi meminta warga untuk tidak anarkis dan main hakim sendiri.
Insiden ini telah dilaporkan ke Polda Sumatera Barat. Langkah hukum diambil agar korban mendapat keadilan dan kepastian hukum, serta agar peristiwa serupa tidak berulang kembali.
Sebelumnya, sekelompok pria, yang sebagian menggenggam balok kayu, membubarkan kegiatan pembinaan dan pendidikan agama Kristen yang diikuti sedikitnya 30 anak sekolah. Dua orang anak dilaporkan mengalami luka akibat kejadian ini.
