Iroha Sakayori, uma estudante de 17 anos, leva uma vida muito agitada em Tóquio, tentando equilibrar os estudos e o trabalho em meio período. Para desestressar, ela costuma assistir às transmissões de Yachiyo Runami, que administra um espaço virtual online chamado Tsukuyomi.
Iroha frequenta Tsukuyomi, um lugar onde as pessoas podem se clonar e soltar a criatividade sem barreiras. Além de ser fã de Yachiyo, ela joga games de batalha para ganhar um dinheirinho extra.
