Tentara Israel mengaku mendeteksi rudal balistik dari Yaman yang menuju wilayah Palestina yang diduduki.
Akibatnya, sirene serangan udara berbunyi di Tel Aviv, Yerusalem, dan sekitar Ashdod di wilayah pendudukan.
Dalam video yang beredar, sejumlah rudal terlihat beterbangan menuju Israel.
Sementara warga Palestina terlihat berteriak saat melihat rudal-rudal tersebut.
Suara anak-anak yang paling mendominasi teriakan.
Akibat serangan itu, aktivitas penerbangan di Bandara Ben Gurion dihentikan setelah peluncuran rudal dari Yaman.
IDF mengklaim, sistem pertahanan udara Arrow Israel dan THAAD Amerika berhasil mencegat rudal.
Sementara, Juru bicara Angkatan Bersenjata Yaman, Brigadir Jenderal Yahya Saree mengaku bertanggung jawab atas serangan tersebut.
Dalam serangan ini, militernya menggunakan rudal balistik hipersonik "Palestine 2".
Saree memastikan, rudalnya berhasil mencapai tujuan.
Sehingga memaksa jutaan pemukim Israel mengungsi ke tempat penampungan.
