Militar cubano identificado por disparar contra manifestantes en Antilla
Un militar cubano fue identificado públicamente como el responsable de disparar con un arma de fuego tipo KM contra manifestantes pacíficos el 19 de mayo de 2025 en Antilla, municipio de la provincia de Holguín. La identificación fue realizada por Henry Ponce Sánchez, quien difundió la fotografía del funcionario a través de redes sociales.Según la información divulgada, el militar se llama Junior Cruz Perdomo, ostenta el grado de teniente coronel y funge como delegado del Ministerio del Interior en Antilla. De acuerdo con testimonios en redes sociales, disparó contra una multitud en la que se encontraban niños y mujeres embarazadas que exigían libertad y justicia. Algunas fuentes señalan que el funcionario presuntamente se encontraba en estado de embriaguez al momento de los hechos.
Como consecuencia de las protestas, alrededor de 20 participantes permanecen detenidos bajo instrucción penal en la provincia de Holguín. En el video se llama a la población a no permitir que el represor pueda ocultar su identidad ni mezclarse entre la ciudadanía en un eventual escenario de cambio político en Cuba.
