Deux ans après l’épidémie de Zika qui a touché la Polynésie française, le virus gagne du terrain un peu partout dans le monde et continue d’inquiéter l’Organisation Mondiale de la Santé… Nous avons décidé de retourner sur ce territoire du bout du monde, là où tout a commencé, pour tenter de démêler le vrai du faux, loin des rumeurs de ces derniers mois. Entre 2013 et 2014, la Polynésie française a été frappé par la première épidémie de Zika. Sur cet archipel d’à peine 270 000 habitants, environ 60% de la population a été infecté par le virus faisant de la Polynésie, un laboratoire à ciel ouvert.
Jusque ici, le Zika était vu comme inoffensif… mais l’épidémie polynésienne a révélé une face plus sombre du virus!
