Viktor Orban, il premier ungherese per 16 anni premier dell'Ungheria, l'inventore della democrazia illiberale, l'uomo che piantava veti nella storia e nella vicenda dell'Unione Europea, ha perso le elezioni benché avesse trasformato l'Ungheria in una autocrazia competitiva, benché avesse manipolato e alterato tutti i contrappesi della democrazia ungherese, benché fosse sostenuto dalla disinformazione russa e addirittura dall'arrivo in Ungheria, nei giorni del voto, del vicepresidente americano che ha fatto un clamoroso endorsement che adesso si ritorcerà anche contro Vance.Bene è stato battuto in modo larghissimo da Peter Magyar e il leader di Tisza che a questo punto con 2/3 del Parlamento potrà anche cambiare in senso liberale la Costituzione. Tutti contenti, perbacco. La Von der Leyen, presidente della Commissione europea, ha detto che il cuore d'Europa batte più forte. Il problema per l'Europa è che, caduto Orban se ne potrebbe fare un altro e che comunque Orban era un fantastico capro espiatorio, al netto delle molte nefandezze che ha compiuto in tutti questi anni.Dicevo un fantastico capro espiatorio per le inadeguatezze e l'incompiutezza dell'Europa. l'Europa non funziona bene? C'è il veto di Orban. l'Europa non è in grado di aiutare l'Ucraina? Certo, i 90 miliardi stanziati sono bloccati da Orban. L'Europa sta cercando di darsi delle regole meno demenziali per formare, diciamo, il proprio consenso politico, per darsi una visione chiara di politica estera.Orban non c'è più, da domani l'ex primo ministro ungherese sarà all'opposizione nel suo Paese e non potrà più nuocerci.
