Intervenuto nel corso delle dichiarazioni di voto di fiducia sul Decreto coesione, alla Camera dei Deputati, Grimaldi di Avs ha paragonato la Premier Meloni alla Nazionale italiana: “Già fuori degli Europei, l’Italia ora spera di essere ripescata. A casa con le pive nel sacco: ma quali supplementari? La partita è già persa: l’Italia ha perso e non è una sconfitta nel classico braccio di ferro per una posizione di rilievo, ma una defaillance per una strategia politica perseguita metodicamente per quasi due anni. Meloni in un vicolo cieco: non poteva fare altro. Come avrete colto non parliamo degli Europei, anche perché se la Presidente del consiglio dovesse prendere un voto credo che prenderebbe molto meno di Scamacca”.
