Am Karfreitag setzt Papst Leo XIV ein starkes Zeichen des Glaubens: Erstmals führt er persönlich den Kreuzweg am Kolosseum in Rom. Zehntausende Pilger begleiten die Zeremonie, die seit 1964 zur Karwoche gehört. Die Meditationen von Francesco Paton verleihen dem Leidensweg Jesu besondere Tiefe. Nach der Leitung durch Kardinal Reina im Vorjahr markiert diese Premiere ein eindrucksvolles Glaubenszeichen und bereitet Gläubige auf Ostern vor.
