Il dato più citato: al primo turno il campo largo prevarrebbe con il 44,4% contro il 38,1% del centrodestra, ma al secondo turno i rapporti si ribalterebbero, con la coalizione di governo al 51,1% contro il 48,9%. A determinare il ribaltone sarebbe il travaso di voti dell'elettorato di Futuro Nazionale, guidato da Roberto #Vannacci, che secondo la rilevazione tornerebbe alle urne in ballottaggio orientandosi in larga maggioranza verso il centrodestra.
Il tema, storicamente osteggiato dal centrodestra, è tornato d'attualità proprio per arginare l'ascesa di Vannacci, ma resta senza intesa: contraria la Lega, mentre al Senato sono attesi due emendamenti - tra cui quello del senatore Marcello Pera - per introdurre formalmente il secondo turno.
