Otaola denuncia agua contaminada en Cuba: “¿Quién multa a los responsables?”
El activista e influencer cubanoamericano Alex Otaola reaccionó a imágenes difundidas desde Cuba donde se observa agua en condiciones turbias llegando a viviendas tras meses de interrupciones en el servicio. En el material, vecinos cuestionan la calidad del suministro que deben usar para cocinar, bañarse y atender heridas.Otaola vinculó esta situación con el deterioro general de los servicios públicos y recordó documentos oficiales de los primeros años de la Revolución que sancionaban a trabajadores por expresar opiniones contrarias al régimen. Según su análisis, el Estado que prometió garantizar bienestar terminó trasladando responsabilidades básicas a los familiares emigrados, mientras mantiene privilegios para la élite gobernante.
Durante su intervención, también mencionó la eliminación de aranceles en determinados productos, interpretándolo como una señal de que el gobierno continúa dependiendo del envío de insumos desde el exterior para suplir carencias internas.
Las declaraciones se suman a una serie de críticas sobre apagones, escasez de medicamentos y deterioro hospitalario, en un contexto donde el debate sobre la calidad de los servicios esenciales en Cuba sigue creciendo dentro y fuera de la Isla.
