📢 В 2025 году было особенно много интересных открытий в двух областях: в науке об абиогенезе (происхождении жизни) и в эволюции человека. Об этих открытиях в основном и пойдет речь в традиционной лекции, подводящей итоги года в эволюционной биологии. Мы познакомимся с важными достижениями в изучении как самых ранних этапов абиогенеза (сборка коротких молекул РНК из абиогенных нуклеотидов, неферментативная репликация РНК), так и более поздних, когда в мире РНК начинали формироваться системы контролируемого синтеза белков. Также мы обсудим открытия палеоантропологов и палеогенетиков, благодаря которым мы узнали, в частности, что гоминины, возможно, жили в Евразии уже 2 млн лет назад, что 1.5 млн лет назад в Африке люди разделывали туши гиппопотамов орудиями из слоновьих костей, что 300 тысяч лет назад наши предки получили 20% генов от другого вида людей, и что древний человек из Харбина, известный по хорошо сохранившемуся черепу, был не кем иным, как денисовцем.
