Penggusuran rumah bersertifikat di perumahan Setia Mekar Residence 2, Tambun, Kabupaten Bekasi, membuka kisah bagaimana sebuah peralihan tanah yang rumit dan sebenarnya terjadi di banyak tempat di Indonesia. Bagaimana sebenarnya para pemilik rumah bersertifikat ini bisa tergusur dari rumah yang mereka ditinggali sejak lama?Kasus ini berawal dari gugatan di pengadilan pada 1996 atas transaksi akta jual beli tanah yang dilakukan pada 1976. Singkatnya, jual beli itu kemudian digugat oleh ahli waris tanah bernama Mimi Jamilah. Meski telah diputus sejak 1997 oleh pengadilan dan dimenangkan oleh Ahli Waris, tapi rupanya ada banyak kisah yang menyertai gugatan itu dari proses perdamaian hingga kemudian saling menggugat satu sama lain.
Di lain sisi, sejak gugatan itu bergulir di pengadilan rupanya objek tanah telah dipecah-pecah dan telah berkali-kali dijual dan beralih kepemilikan secara resmi lewat sertifikat yang telah dikeluarkan oleh BPN. Namun, meski telah memiliki sertifikat, pengadilan tetap melakukan eksekusi pengosongan atas tanah sengketa itu.
Kini, para korban menunggu keadilan.
Kasus ini bukan hanya persoalan administratif, tetapi juga gambaran tentang kekacauan sistem pertanahan di Indonesia yang membuat orang-orang yang sudah memiliki sertifikat sah bisa saja kehilangan hak mereka kapan saja.
