Pengumuman hasil autopsi ini disampaikan dalam konferensi pers yang digelar pada Selasa sore.
Sebelum konferensi pers dimulai, polisi lebih dulu menampilkan sejumlah barang bukti terkait kasus kematian Arya.
Barang bukti tersebut di antaranya adalah lakban, yang disita dari rumah Arya di Yogyakarta dan sama dengan yang terlilit di wajah Arya.
Kemudian ada satu kantong klip plastik yang berisi bungkus sisa makanan, alat kontrasepsi hingga pelumas.
Lalu ada satu kantong klip plastik berisi plastik warna bening yang diduga digunakan untuk menutup wajah korban.
Polisi juga turut menampilkan handphone lama milik Arya, dua buah laptop, dua buah kartu akses, satu unit DVR, enam SD card, hingga beberapa flashdisk.
Sebelumnya, polisi telah menemukan tas Arya Daru yang ditinggal di rooftop Kemenlu di Jakarta.
Tas tersebut ditemukan di samping tangga darurat, sehari setelah penemuan jenazah Arya Daru di kamar kosnya di Menteng, Jakarta Pusat.
Adapun barang-barang di dalam tas yaitu laptop, beberapa obat-obatan, pakaian yang dibeli dari pusat perbelanjaaan Grand Indonesia.
