Una fuga ad alta velocità si è conclusa con uno schianto al casello di Vicenza Est e l’arresto di quattro giovani padovani dai 19 ai 25 anni. L’episodio è avvenuto lunedì 12 gennaio, quando una volante della questura di Vicenza ha notato in città un’auto sospetta con targa francese. Alla vista della pattuglia, il conducente ha accelerato, dando il via a un inseguimento durato quasi cinque chilometri. Arrivati alla barriera autostradale, i fuggitivi hanno perso il controllo del veicolo e si sono schiantati contro un furgone nella corsia telepass. Le telecamere di sorveglianza hanno ripreso l’intera dinamica dell’incidente e la fuga a piedi dei quattro nei campi adiacenti. Poco dopo, mentre cercavano rifugio in un edificio abbandonato, i componenti della banda sono stati intercettati e arrestati per resistenza a pubblico ufficiale, interruzione di pubblico servizio, danneggiamento e possesso di arnesi atti allo scasso.
