Lo fa proponendo il Trattato Pandemico e il nuovo Regolamento Sanitario Internazionale. Si tratta di norme che l'#OMS propone per regolamentare e burocratizzare la gestione di emergenze sanitarie di interesse internazionale. Un insieme di norme che, si teme, potrebbero concentrare il potere decisionale degli Stati nelle mani dell'Organizzazione di Tedros Ghebreyesus. La data cruciale per accettare o rifiutare la partecipazione del proprio Paese è sabato 19 luglio. Mentre dal governo italiano non arrivano notizie - nonostante l'astensione di maggio nei confronti del trattato pandemico - gli Stati Uniti annunciano la loro posizione ufficiale. Lo fanno tramite il loro ministro della Salute, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
