Ia mengaku dijemput Iptu Rudiana dan meminta Liga Akbar untuk menjadi saksi soal pakaian yang dikenakan Eky dan Vina pada saat kejadian 2016 silam.
Namun saat pemeriksaan di kantor polisi, Liga Akbar Cahyana justru diarahkan ke skenario pembunuhan.
Imbasnya, Liga Akbar dituduh jadi saksi kunci yang menyebabkan 8 pelaku dipenjara.
Padahal menurut Liga Akbar, saat itu dirinya sudah menolak skenario yang disampaikan oleh penyidik.
Menurutnya, pada malam kejadian itu dirinya sudah berpisah dengan Eky dan Vina.
Sebab Eky dan Vina berpamitan untuk acara perkumpulan dengan geng motor XTC.
Saat Eky dan Vina pergi, Liga Akbar masih berada di warung depan SMA 4 Cirebon bersama teman-temannya yang lain.
Namun menurutnya saat pemeriksaan, tidak ada polisi yang percaya dengan keterangannya.
Sebab awalnya ayah Eky hanya meminta Liga Akbar untuk menceritakan barang bukti pakaian yang dikenakan Vina dan Eky.
Liga pun menduga dirinya yang dijadikan saksi karena memiliki kedekatan dengan almarhum Eky semasa hidup.
Sebab diakuinya bahwa Liga Akbar sering menginap di rumah Eky.
