Proprio a tal proposito, l'amministratore delegato di #Eni, Claudio #Descalzi, ha recentemente ribadito la necessità di sospendere il divieto di acquisto sui 20 miliardi di metri cubi di gas russo che ancora arrivano in Europa, che scatterà il 1 gennaio 2027.
Un annuncio inaspettato quello di Descalzi, almeno fino a qualche settimana fa. Ne è convinto Demostenes Floros, responsabile di Energia CER (Centro Europa Ricerche), che ha analizzato la questione a 'Un Giorno Speciale'.
“Descalzi ha ricalibrato le sue dichiarazioni post 28 febbraio 2026. Cioè quelle successive all'inizio del conflitto in Medio Oriente. Ora nelle parole dell'ad di Eni c'è un'apertura nei confronti della federazione russa. Mentre a inizio gennaio dopo gli eventi in Venezuela lo stesso Descalzi ed altri amministratori delegati di alcune delle principali compagnie petrolifere del mondo si esprimevano favorevolmente rispetto alle indicazioni desiderate dallo stesso #Trump. In questo caso, vedo un cambiamento di linea molto interessante che sostengo”.
