Istri mendiang, Meta Ayu Puspitantri (38), secara resmi melayangkan surat kepada Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo untuk meminta kejelasan terkait penyebab kematian suaminya.
Dikutip dari Kompas.com pada Jumat (3/10/2025), surat tersebut dikirim pada 27 Agustus 2025 melalui kuasa hukum, Nicholay Aprilindo dan Dwi Librianto.
Tak hanya kepada Kapolri, surat itu juga ditembuskan ke Presiden Prabowo Subianto dan Kapolda Metro Jaya Irjen Asep Edi Suheri.
Dalam suratnya, Meta menilai kesimpulan polisi bahwa Arya meninggal karena mati lemas akibat lilitan lakban, tanpa adanya unsur pidana, terlalu prematur.
Ia menekankan ada sejumlah kejanggalan, mulai dari metode dugaan bunuh diri yang dianggap tidak lazim hingga ketiadaan pesan pribadi yang biasanya ditinggalkan dalam kasus serupa.
Sementara itu, Kuasa hukum keluarga, Nicholay Aprilindo, meminta polisi mendalami sosok Vara dan Dion, yang disebut terakhir kali bersama Arya sebelum kematiannya.
Arya sempat makan siang di Pos Bloc, lalu ke Grand Indonesia, bersama keduanya pada 7 Juli 2025.
Polisi mengonfirmasi bahwa Vara, Dion, dan seorang sopir taksi termasuk dalam 24 saksi yang telah diperiksa.
Direskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Wira Satya Triputra, menyebut sejauh ini tidak ditemukan indikasi keterlibatan pihak lain.
Namun, ia menegaskan penyelidikan tetap terbuka terhadap bukti baru.
Polisi juga terus mencari ponsel Arya yang belum diketahui keberadaannya.
